Dr. Jones is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral with a Ph.D. in education.

Her area of expertise is speech acquisition in pre- and non-verbal children. Early in her career, Dr. Jones was the Clinical Coordinator of the TALK (Training for Acquisition of Language in Kids) program located at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. It was a very fun and engaging program that hundreds of children and their parents loved through the years. Children were seen 1 to 3 hours per week and parents were trained to provide in-home sessions. With this model, children made rapid gains.

Dr. Jones has been in private practice over thirty years and was director of a multi-disciplinary clinic, specializing in children with autism, apraxia, and other developmental challenges affecting language and socialization. Feedback from parents has given her valuable information to modify programs for parents to be successful with their children. 

Dr. Jones has presented at state and national conferences and is the author of “The Source for Expressive Language Delay”.
